Joy has always seen the world through texture, color, and full of clever possibility. With a degree in Fashion Merchandising, she built her life around the art of making things beautiful and useful all at once. There isn’t a bead, ribbon, or scrap of fabric that Joy hasn’t made friends with. As the founder of Overjoyed, she transforms freshwater pearls, silver, and beads into life forms that are timeless and personal. When she’s not at her sewing machine or jewelry bench, she’s likely designing custom pillows, doing custom tailoring, or coaxing new blooms from her garden. Joy lives with her husband, where creativity seems to follow her like sunlight—whether through her home, for one of her two daughters, or the next inspired project waiting on her worktable.
