One of my husband David Graysmith’s little known talents is that he is an expert in Origami, the art of folding paper. His work never fails to fascinate and delight all who see it. He can make anything from a menagerie of tiny jungle or sea animals the size of your thumb nail to miniature flower bouquets inside of delicate paper boxes.
David will be leading a beginner’s origami workshop at Village Social on Wednesday evening, December 3rd on how to make a large, beautiful lotus flower out of paper. This wonderful creation would make a very special gift for anyone, or you can always keep it to enjoy yourself. David will start the Lily Pad base for you and then lead you step by step on how to fold and build the paper Lotus. All supplies will be provided and you will be able to choose your own paper colors.
